(Quick Update, 5/26/11)
• My 6th book, "10-MInute Dog Training Games"
will be on sale in October. I'm super pleased with this book! It has amazing
full-page photos and step-by-step photos and instructions of 87 simple games.
• My DVDs "Best of 101 Dog Tricks" and "Best
Puppy Tricks"
both won Telly awards! They are now on shelves in Petsmart and Petco.
What's new: I thinking about running another marathon this fall, but
really haven't comitted to it (I'm way behind on my training schedule).
What's on my whiteboard?: Jadie has some fears that I really need to
work on (with counter-conditioning). On of her fears is the sound of skateboards
(which is really strange, since one of her very favorite tricks is riding her
skateboard!)
What's next?: I pitched my 7th book to my publisher. Hopefully they'll
go for it, and I can start work on it in June (which means I'll need dogs for
photoshoots in fall!) I'm also working with one of my dog friends on a new project
(ooh, I'm dying to say more... but she'd kill me!)
TV show: More of the same... meetings, agents, production companies...
so far nothing has come of it. I'm ever hopeful though...
